Viewpoint Diversity
In today’s polarized public and political realm, strong leaders must have the conviction of their own beliefs, rooted in unbiased knowledge. Equally important, they must also understand and consider alternative viewpoints.
Students at the Pepperdine School of Public Policy, both on-campus and online, experience our commitment to viewpoint diversity by witnessing policy debates from both sides of the aisle. You will be exposed to a diverse range of ideological perspectives, grounded in distinctive curricula. Students will explore these perspectives through coursework in philosophy and history, as well as quantitative classes in economics and policy analysis. We aim to prepare leaders who will be public servants, capable of working through differences across sectors to create sustainable policy solutions.
